Children at Shaza Makkah

28 Nov 2019

Children are pure, innocent creatures; they are a gift from Allah meant to make our lives happier – and they are the most important guests in Shaza Makkah.

At Shaza Makkah, children under 12 years of age can enjoy their stay with their parents free of charge. For children younger than three years of age, we equip your room with a crib so your little ones can sleep soundly and comfortably, and we also add colourful towels for a fun bath experience. When the little ones join their parents for dinner at MIDAN Restaurant, we give them a special chair along with a fun dining set complete with exciting tablecloth, plates, and cutlery.

As a child-friendly hotel, one of the most important amenities in Shaza Makkah is the Shaza Kids Club on the fifth floor, the same floor as the men and women’s prayer areas. Parents can check on their kids through the club’s glass façade and they can enjoy a quiet meal in MIDAN or Shalimar, take a tour around the Haram Al Sharif area, or perform Umrah, all the while knowing that their children are in safe hands amidst a clean and secure environment.

The Shaza Kids Club offers a variety of educational and entertainment activities; children can enjoy stories, interactive games, and brain teasers that teach good manners like honesty, cooperation, generosity, and other features of a good Muslim. We know how important an Islamic upbringing is for our guests, which is why we make sure to offer positive events and activities consistent with the principles you teach your little ones. We also make sure that children leave the Shaza Kids Club having learned something new about the Prophet’s life and the stories from the Quran in the most fun way possible because we hope to become part of your children’s memories of their first trip to Makkah.
